Visit of the French Ambassador Mr Étienne Chapon, to the UCCIA
On February 11, 2026, the Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, and Crafts of the Comoros (UCCIA) and the Ngazidja Chamber of Commerce (CCIA Ngazidja) had the honor of welcoming Mr. Étienne Chapon, French Ambassador to the Comoros, for a working visit focused on dialogue and partnership.
This meeting allowed the institutions to discuss prospects for cooperation and the need to strengthen structured and sustainable collaboration to support the Comorian private sector.
During this visit, the President of the UCCIA reiterated the missions of the consular network and the full range of services offered to support, structure, and assist businesses. The priority areas for economic cooperation with France were presented, as were the key projects undertaken by the consular institution.
